Dr Michael Chung

Director @Tzu Chi Clinic of TCM 

Dr Michael Chung has almost 30 years of experience with Tung Acupuncture. He is one of the few intimate students of Dr Wei Chieh Young and was adopted as a disciple in 1991. He is considered as one of the major successors of Dr Young and a dedicated educator of Tung’s Acupuncture. He has not only been Dr Young’s English translator but also in recent years co-taught many workshops in Australia, Germany, Malaysia, New York, Los Angeles, Portland, San Jose, Guangzhou and Taipei. Dr Chung runs his own TCM practice in West Vancouver, BC since 1998 and is a prominent member of the Acupuncture community in Canada. He has been elected member and chair of many boards such as College of TCM Practitioners and Acupuncturists of BC (CTCMA) and Natural Health Products Directorate (NHPD). He has also founded the Canadian arm of the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA).
